Instaurare omnia in Christo
To restore all things in Christ
Communion Ministers are a vital part of our celebration of the Mass. They serve the community and assist the priests by distributing The Body, and Blood of Christ, at all Masses.
These individuals bring Eucharist and comfort to the members of the Parish community who are confined to home, hospital, or nursing homes and cannot participate in the Mass celebration. This ministry is an extension of the parish Eucharistic Ministry.
If you have a friend or a family member who is ill or cannot make it to Mass regularly, please contact the Parish Office 303-364-7435 and we will set-up weekly visitation.
Currently, in addition to our weekly visits to our homebound parishioners, we serve the residents and patients of the following facilities on at least a weekly basis: the Colorado State Veteran's Home, Aspen Care Nursing Home, University of Colorado Hospital and Spalding Rehabilitation Center. If your friend or family member is registered as a Catholic patient, their name will show up on our communion visitation list. We also serve Children's Hospital and Aurora North Hospital on an as-needed basis.
Perhaps you would like to become one of our highly valued volunteer Eucharistic Ministers who take Communion to the Sick. All of our Ministers to the Sick are trained and mandated for service.
